Terrell

Ned Pegler produced Terrell as Medlar after several years of pursuing releases, deliberately making the track for his own enjoyment. He sent it to Greymatter, whose recommendation led to its release through WOLF Music. Released on WOLF EP 8 in June 2011, Terrell introduced the Medlar alias and established his relationship with WOLF Music. The track earned support from Floating Points and DJ Nature. Terrell became a defining early record in Medlar’s catalogue and was included on the label’s 2019 retrospective, Wolf 10 Years Deep in the Game. Medlar credited its success with shaping his approach to making music for personal satisfaction.
