Feel Surreal
A Tongue & D Groove · —Recording
A Tongue & D Groove recorded Feel Surreal for Techno! The New Dance Sound Of Detroit, first issued by 10 Records in 1988. The compilation credits A Tongue and D Groove as producers, Mayday as mixer, and Stoney for edits. The track appeared on the 1988 compilation that introduced Detroit's new electronic dance sound to a wider UK audience. Its inclusion placed the project alongside early Transmat, Metroplex, KMS, and other Detroit-associated recordings gathered by Neil Rushton. Feel Surreal remains tied to the original Techno! The New Dance Sound Of Detroit compilation and its role in exporting Detroit club music. It is preserved as one of the lesser-known tracks from that foundational 1988 release.
