Use Me Again - Carl Craig Rework

Use Me Again - Carl Craig Rework

Tom Trago · 2010
Recording

Detroit techno pioneer Carl Craig reworked Tom Trago's original 2010 Rush Hour release, which was built around an infectious disco loop. The rework was released on Trago's own Amsterdam-based Voyage Direct label as the B-side of the "Use Me Again (And Again)" single. The Carl Craig rework transformed an already popular underground club track into a deeper, more hypnotic piece, bridging Amsterdam's disco-house scene with Detroit's techno heritage. The original had already become a staple in DJ sets following its 2010 release, and Carl Craig's involvement elevated the track's profile across both European and American dance music circles. The rework remains a durable peak-time selection for DJs working between disco and house, prompting a 2025 vinyl repress on Voyage Direct due to sustained demand more than a decade after initial release.
