Lazy

Released on 26 September 2018, Lazy was written and produced by Mikale D'Andrea for his Los Angeles-based project SAVI MINDS. D'Andrea performed guitar, drums and synthesizers, with bass by Theo Quayle, additional synthesizers and effects by Arieh Berl, mixing by Jules de Gasperis and mastering by Yianni Anastos-Prastacos. Lazy was an early SAVI MINDS single exploring emotional manipulation, family conflict, fear and the damaging effects of being labelled lazy. Its layered instrumentation and personal lyrics helped establish the project's distinctive songwriting approach ahead of its debut album. Lazy was subsequently included as the sixth track on SAVI MINDS' debut album Eventually, We All Fade Away, released in March 2021. The recording remains among the project's most-streamed songs, extending the reach of its original 2018 release.
