Come to Me

Recorded for Steve Mason's 2013 album Monkey Minds in the Devil's Time, with the main songs made in London with producer Dan Carey and shorter linking pieces self-produced in Mason's Fife studio. Come To Me was written by Mason and formed part of the album's politically charged second half. Released by Double Six in 2013, Come To Me appeared on Mason's second solo album after Boys Outside. The song reflected the album's movement from personal recovery toward social and political confrontation. Come To Me remains part of the Monkey Minds in the Devil's Time album cycle and a representative track from Mason's post-Beta Band solo work. Its place on the album ties it to one of his most overtly political solo releases.
