Funky Green Dogs recorded Body as the Murk production team of Oscar Gaetan and Ralph Falcon, with Tamara Wallace on vocals. The Twisted America release credits Gaetan and Falcon for production and mixing, Carlos Santos as engineer, Eddie Montilla on additional keyboards, and recording at HN Studios and Space Shuffle Studio in Paris. The single was issued by Twisted America in 1998 and reached the UK singles chart in February 1999 through Twisted UK. It became part of Funky Green Dogs' late-1990s club-chart run after Fired Up and Until The Day. Body remains one of the core Funky Green Dogs singles from the Star album era. Its Twisted America and Twisted UK editions, along with remixes by M.A.S. Collective, Club 69, Fun Kee Runners and Ashley Beedle, kept it active in international club circulation.
