Flashback

Laurent Garnier wrote and produced Flashback for the 1997 single on F Communications. The release included the Original Mix, Laboratoire Mix, Lil Louis Civilized Instrumental Painting, and Le Voyage De Simone. Flashback extended Garnier's late-1990s F Communications run after 30 and Crispy Bacon. The single reached number 82 on the UK Official Singles Chart in July 1997. Flashback remained part of Garnier's catalogue through later F Communications remastered editions and Christian Smith and Wehbba remixes. Quentin Dupieux's official video also helped preserve the track's place in French electronic music's late-1990s visual culture.
