Khoda

Alì Farahani · 2015

Recording

Produced by Iranian-born, Los Angeles-based producer Ali Farahani, whose sound shifted toward experimental grooves and slower beats inspired by his Persian origins after relocating from Italy to Santa Monica in 2011. Released in September 2015 on Big Mama's House Records, the track drew on Farahani's Middle Eastern musical heritage, with "Khoda" meaning "God" in Persian, and was later included on the Ibiza Tech House Essentials 2017 compilation.
