Nana

Composed, arranged and produced by Martin Gretschmann under his Acid Pauli alias, Nana was released on DJ Koze Presents Pampa, Vol. 1 in April 2016. Its arrangement builds around a finely chopped sampled melody. The track was a standout on Pampa Records' first label compilation. Pitchfork praised its intricate melodic construction, and Faze ranked it among its best tracks of 2016. Nana became one of Acid Pauli's best-known recordings, receiving support from DJs including John Digweed and Hernán Cattáneo. Its lasting appeal is reflected in later selections by Sean Johnston and Balearic Mike.
