Recording

“Shellshock” was recorded as a collaboration between Foreign Beggars and Noisia, with Foreign Beggars providing the vocal performance over Noisia’s production. The track was released through Vision Recordings and later appeared on Noisia’s “Split The Atom” material. The track connected Foreign Beggars’ UK rap presence with Noisia’s hard-edged electronic production during the “Split The Atom” period. It became one of the group’s best-known crossover collaborations in club and festival circulation. “Shellshock” remains a key Foreign Beggars and Noisia collaboration and continued to circulate through later Vision Recordings editions and remixes. Its video and later remix activity kept the track visible beyond its original release period.
