Privacy Policy
Effective date: 9 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what the Polson app (“Polson”, “we”, “us”) does with information. Polson is provided by MIXUDG LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (number 17515725), 42 Bluebell Close, Kingsnorth, Ashford, Kent, TN23 3NG. Questions: hello@mixudg.com.
Polson collects nothing about you. There is no account and no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. Your play history stays on your iPhone, and we run no server that receives anything about you.
1. Who this applies to
This policy applies to everyone who uses the Polson iOS app.
2. What stays on your iPhone
Polson keeps these on your device, so the app can show your progress:
- Your play history: which games you played, whether you solved them, time spent, hints used, scores, and how that is spread across the kinds of game. This is what draws your flower, your levels and the Your Mind pages.
- Your points and the content packs you have traded them for.
- A random identifier created on your iPhone, used only to make your Mind Portrait your own. It is not linked to your Apple ID or to you.
- Your settings, and the last list of our other apps so that page works offline.
None of this is sent to us. We have no way to see it.
3. What leaves your iPhone, and where it goes
Your own iCloud
If you are signed in to iCloud, your points balance and which content packs you have traded points for are kept in your own iCloud (Apple's key-value storage), so they survive a new phone. The Back up and Restore buttons in the Store do the same on demand. It sits in your iCloud account, not ours, and we cannot read it. Your play history is not included.
Purchases
The unlock and points are bought through Apple's In-App Purchase. Apple handles the payment; we never see your name, email address or card details. Your unlock is tied to your Apple ID, so it restores on any of your devices.
Premium content downloads
Premium content (audio, images and case files) is hosted by Apple and downloaded by your iPhone from Apple, under Apple's own privacy policy. We receive nothing when it downloads.
Our other apps
The … → Our other apps page lists our other apps. When you open it, Polson makes two requests:
- Apple's App Store (
itunes.apple.com), for the list of our apps. The request carries only our developer number and your country's App Store region, so the list shows local prices. - Our website (
polson.app/apps.json), for how we'd like the list shown: which app comes first, a short headline, a label such as “New”. The request carries nothing at all; it is the same small file for everyone.
Nothing about you or your use of Polson is sent in either. As with any website, the servers answering each request see your device's IP address in order to send the reply. Our website is hosted by Vercel, which may keep that address briefly in its logs; we don't use it to identify you, track you, or link it to anything else (see Vercel's privacy policy). Tapping an app opens its page in Apple's App Store, under Apple's own privacy policy.
4. Apple Intelligence
Two games, What Else and Bias, use Apple Intelligence, the language model built into your iPhone. It runs on the device: what you type in What Else and how you answer in Bias are processed on your iPhone and are not sent to us or to Apple. On iPhones without Apple Intelligence these two games don't appear.
5. What we receive
Nothing directly. Polson contains no analytics, no advertising, no crash-reporting service and no third-party software development kits of any kind. If you have chosen in your device's settings to share analytics with developers, Apple may give us aggregate, anonymous statistics, such as how many people downloaded the app or how often it crashed. We cannot identify anyone from that, and you can turn it off at any time under Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.
We do not sell, rent or share data for advertising, because we have none to sell.
6. Deleting your data
In the app, go to Store → Delete my data. This erases your play history, your points (including the copy in your iCloud) and Polson's identifier from your iPhone. It cannot be undone. Your purchases are not affected: the unlock stays with your Apple ID and can be restored. Deleting the app removes everything else it stored on your iPhone.
7. Children
Polson is not directed at children under 13, and it collects no data from anyone, of any age.
8. Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you have the right to access, correct or erase personal data a company holds about you, and to complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO). We hold none, so there is nothing for us to retrieve or delete, but if you want to ask, or think this policy is wrong about something, contact hello@mixudg.com and we'll answer.
9. Changes to this policy
If Polson changes in a way that affects this policy, we'll update this page and change the date at the top. If a future version were to start collecting anything, we would say so plainly here and in the app before it did.
