Playing with Knives

Recorded in 1991 at Out of the Blue Studios in Manchester by the Stafford-based trio Bizarre Inc, with the original release appearing as a Vinyl Solution single. The track was later issued in remixed form and became the group’s breakthrough record. The single became one of the defining UK rave records of 1991 and established Bizarre Inc as a major name in the British dance scene. Its original release reached the UK Singles Chart before the song returned and climbed much higher on a later reissue. It remains one of Bizarre Inc’s best-known tracks and a durable anthem from the early rave era. Later mixes and reissues kept it in club circulation and sustained its reputation as a classic British house-and-rave crossover.
