It's Rockin Time (Rock Rockin Time) (vocal)

Kool Kyle the Starchild released the track in 1981 as a 12-inch single on Enjoy Records, with the vocal version paired to an instrumental on the original issue. The release is credited to Kyle Brinson on lead vocals and Bobby Robinson as songwriter/producer. The record placed Kool Kyle inside Enjoy Records’ early New York rap run, alongside the label’s other foundational 1980s singles. It circulated as an underground club and DJ record rather than a mainstream chart single. The track remains part of old-school hip-hop’s documented Enjoy Records canon and is still listed in later retrospectives and discography references. It has also remained in sampling and crate-digging discussions around early rap production.
