Dynamix II · 1986
Recording

Recorded in Miami for Bass Station Records, with Too Tough Tee featured on vocals. The original release credits Eric Griffin as producer and mixer, with engineering by Chris Rutherford and Tim Devine and mastering by Mike Fuller. Released in 1986 and issued in the UK in 1987, the track became one of Dynamix II’s defining early Miami bass records. It reached No. 50 on the UK Singles Chart and was noted for its distinctive 808-driven sound. The record is widely treated as a foundational Miami bass and electro cut, and later writers have credited its pitched 808 basslines with influencing subsequent dance music. It also continued to circulate through reissues and compilations, keeping it in DJ culture.
